What's the threaded rod used for in your MT?

For sure!!! I plan on doing a time-laps video of it

It's a stainless steel threaded rod, after about 1 year and adding hot water along with the grain it stretched the cooler out buy a few inches so I had to add that rod to screw it back to its original shape to keep it tightly closed

Broke it in today!! what a dream... having a stand takes out 70% of the luggin stuff around and setup and take down :)

Same realization I had, makes brewing that much more enjoyable
