This is for Drew, I was at a new brewery the other day and they are full electric, HLT, MT, BK. The elements inside the kettles that contact mash and wort, he said they need to be cleaned after every use, uses oxy clean or PBW along with a scrub brush/pad, if not it gives off an off flavor.
