Postby lannan » Wed Apr 28, 2010 5:20 am

I am new here so hello i have a semidumb question. The rubber stoppers i got from my lhbs have a verry strong rubbery smell. Will they impart any off flavors or smells to my wine?

not unless you are soaking the stopper in the wine, which you shouldn't be. You should be fine. Wash it real good and it should diminish too.
