SS tanks and fermentation

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used ss flat bottom tanks to ferment wine in? And i was also wondering if i could damage my pump by pumping out star san through my pump?

I see no reason you couldn't ferment in a flat-bottomed stainless steel tank. Buckets and carboys are flat-bottomed, and I'd guess that most homebrew is fermented in one of these two containers.

Pumping star san through your pump will not hurt it.
