I've been thinking of making a port kit. I really love the style, but all the great bottles cost about as much as a kit (or more :x ). been looking at the one on our host site. anyone have any other suggestions?

Wine Expert Port is really pretty good, especially considering how expensive Port is off the shelf as you say. Just expect to wait a few years to drink it. The port kits are also typically only 15 bottles instead of 30 like most kits.

I really like the WineXpert Raspberry Chocolate Port kit. I made one last year and it was great. Last month, I bought a couple more to make this year. It's an annual release product which went out a month ago, so you might be able to find a kit available if you look around.
