Blending

Post by DLS » Wed Jul 09, 2008 10:44 pm

I"m going to be blending some Cab, Syrah, and Pinot. Does anyone have any suggestions/guidelines regarding blending these grapes? I haven't tasted them or know how long they've been aging for, so any general, high-level advice is appreciated. Cheers...

why these three? Have you done any blending trials to see if they work together, I'm all for blending BUT only if the final product is better than the original components. It's a matter of personal preference.

Those were the three grapes that the winery offered for blending. It was just for fun and games/take home a case sort of thing. Cheers...
