Both of those seem like pretty solid kits. Personally, I think $40 is a good price for a solid quality piece of equipment with a warranty. 5 years or more is a lot longer than you can get a warranty on a chest freezer, and you want to be which is going to fail first? :-)

Hey Egleone6,

I posted step by step instructions on my website on how to remove them. It involves carefully bending the steel away from the magnets.
