Plus the 7.99 shipping as opposed to free shipping. Plus the NB forum is pretty bad.

Obviously the forum aspect allows us to rant and yes I'm a little frustrated that my score sheets haven't arrived but...I will enter again next year, with that knowledge that it will take forever for the scoresheets to be delivered. In a way, their review of my product has become a drug, that rock that I need to fire up. I'm addicted as I stand waiting for the mail to come. My solution....however is to brew more, enter more, and stagger those comps so I get a steady stream of feedback from all over. If I were Morebeer though I would state in the description next year that results will be mailed back within 6 months rather than the next week. I think that is everyones biggest gripe. My .02

August 22nd! This is the date that beers will be judged, making last call for entries August 19th.

This year promises to be way better than last year, so if you were turned off buy our lack of organization, please don't be! We have it all figured out!

Details to follow!

at least try.....

We will get the scoresheets in the mail by August 28th, along with any ribbons.
For further information, please contact the Morebeer! Forum Competiton Coordinator, Randy Griggs @ (925) 771-7131 or randy @ morebeer.com, or Jason Petros at (925) 771-7104 or jp @ morebeer.com

It is now November 2nd - that is 2 months + late.

Not whining, just stating a fact. if you put your name on something (Morebeer Comp) maybe you should try to set the bar a little higher than "when we get around to it"

I beg to differ. hahahaha! at least you're good for making me laugh.

Jhwk wrote:fvcking liar. You didn't enter the comp.

I did, and I want to know where my score sheets are. You can expect to not receive a fvcking dime from me next year - or any more business.

Great way to show your ass to the community. Two thumbs way up.

This competition has a lot going for it, but it needs a new organizer. It has a great sponsor, and there are a lot of great brewers who will enter it. Unfortunately, there needs to be someone behind it that will take care of the competition properly. The B3 guys have jobs, and that is (And should be) their first priority. However, this kind of poor organization does reflect badly on the same organization that they are striving to support. There is a good local homebrewing club in the area; maybe they should take over the organizer duties & let B3 be the shipping/storage point for the beers, the place to hold the actual judging, and the one behind some of the nicer prizes.

Randy & JP, come on guys. We know you are reading this; how about an honest update on when we are going to get our score sheets.

Have you ever noticed that the napkin that comes sealed in a plastic bag with the fork, spoon, & condiments smells like the essence of black pepper? It has HUGE black pepper aroma! I'm pretty certain that Christopher Walken is behind this....

Rejection? No, I won gold and went to the second round. Improving my process, yes.
