Postby lovepea » Tue Aug 12, 2014 2:51 pm

Inland Empire Brewers would like to announce that this year's annual homebrew competition will be held on October 25, 2014, in Redlands, CA. This is a BJCP/AHA certified event and is open to all categories of beer, cider or mead. We will be accepting entries until October 12 either by drop off to various locations in Southern California or by shipment.

For more information please visit our site here.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me here or email at competition@inlandempirebrewers.com

Also, anyone who assists with judging that day will receive one free entry for the competition.

Cheers!

You can always send them to me... Of course I may have to taste them to protect your reputation!

Seriously, I've been waiting for this announcement. I want to see if I can improve on my 3rd place from last year!

I see they are taking drop-offs at Culver City Homebrew Supply. I work pretty close to that shop, so I may have to enter a couple beers this year. :D

I will be entering at least 3 beers and a cider this year. Possibly send in as many as 6 beers if I get off my but and start brewing. I've got 3 or 4 brews all set up, just need to start doing them.

Damn... I completely forgot about this. I'll have to see if I can get something bottled an entered in time. I may just be waiting for next year. :)

I have an Imperial Chocolate Vanilla Porter, an APA, an IPA, a Honey Amber, a Sweet Cider and an Imperial Pumpkin. Fortunately I'm close enough to bottle them and deliver them before the bottles can even sweat.

Won't they disqualify your 21A's? I'm pretty sure you can't enter two into the same subcategory.

We don't have any limits to the number of entries per category, so your two 21s are fine. Good luck!

I read over their rules for entry several times to make sure that there wouldn't be any issues. No where does it state that you can't enter more then one per category. If they had, I would have only entered the Imperial Pumpkin.
