11 days in the primary and aroma is fantastic! Still needs some more time to finish up but can't wait to keg this if the taste is as good as the aroma.

Gonna add some more orange zest and let her go another week or so.

Just tapped the keg; very NICE. I am really glad you posted this thread which motivated me to brew this. Clean finish with a hint of orange aroma as well. I think adding the extra zest after primary fermentation does make a difference; I think next time I will add even more.

Only sad part is I only made 5 gallons....

Glad to hear you liked it. I agree, adding the zest after Primary is the way to go. I've got to brew this again and have it ready for our Fall RV trip.

Planning on brewing this up tomorrow. I think I've brewed this 3 times already all were tasty but this time I'll use the Cream Ale blend for the yeast.
On tap: Southern English Brown Ale, Brown Rye, Ho Ho Ho Holiday Ale (from the Stone book used dried chestnuts, juniper, caraway, white sage leaves)
Kegged and Conditioning: Consecration Ale
Bourbon Barrel: NOTHING
On Deck: Pale Ale

I really like how this one came out using the Cream Ale blend. It's crisp, clean and no caffeine.
