Flaked oats make a huge difference in this style. It adds body and without it the beer can be a bit thin.

It was still fairly hot but I was bleeding badly and had to walk away from it. It was hours before I could get back to it. I really don’t know what outcome this will have on the final product. It’s fermenting now.
