Thank you very much. I was hoping it would be closer to B3's Porter recipe. I'm gonna use the B3 porter recipe and try to add hazelnut flavoring and chocolate to it and see what happens. It was the closest I could get since B3 Riverside was out of the CHP kits and didn't have the hops for it

B3 PORTER

1 lb. Crystal 40L
8 oz. Black Patent

1 oz. Cascade Hops - 1 minute

Whirfloc

WLP002 - English Ale

Est. OG - 1.050-1.055

Has anyone brewed Jon Plise's Helles kit? If so, could you please post the recipe and any comments regarding how it turned out?

Thanks.

wlfpkrcn,

I am sorry I did not specify, but I am looking for an extract recipe. Is there any way you can give me an Octoberfest (with an Ale yeast) recipe for extract brewing?

Thanks again
Cheers! - Ryan
