Face it, sometimes you just don't want to cook. Got a great brewpub or restaurant you want to tell everyone about? Post it here.

Heartland Brewery in New York City

Since no one else has mentioned this place...

Heartland Brewery has 6 locations in New York City, and is IMHO the best brewpub in New York. They Serve a WIDE variety of beers, constantly cycling though seasonal brews. If you only go once a month or less, you are guaranteed to have a different beer each time. If it is your first time there, especially with friends, then ordering a Voyage is the way to go, you get 5 oz samples of 2 seasonals plus each of the 6 classics. Taste em all and then order up a half-pint, pint, or 23-oz of the one you like best. And, with their selection, there will be a beer for every taste. I can always count on getting their Bavarian Black Lager or Oatmeal Stout while the missus gets an Indian River Light or Summertime Apricot Ale. The food itself is not fantastic, but pretty good general bar fair (i.e. Buffalo Wings, Quesadillas, Burgers, Steak Sandwhiches, etc).

If you are ever in town, this is the place to go for a decent beer. It won't rock your world, but its a good place for a brew and burger.
