Face it, sometimes you just don't want to cook. Got a great brewpub or restaurant you want to tell everyone about? Post it here.

Heartland Brewing- Times Square

This place is surprisingly good, especially considering it's a chain in one of the largest tourist areas in the world. The interior space is very inviting and the food is a notch above standard pub fare. Good, attentive service. They do not brew on premises. I had their "Indiana Pale Ale" which is Heartland's American IPA (you know, what with Indiana being in the heartland and all. ) Billed as being "aggressively hopped", I found it to be mildly bitter with a moderate maltiness. Perfectly enjoyable, well made beer. I would not call it aggressively hopped, but this is New York, after all. I also had the Octoberfest Lager, which is a dark, alcoholic seasonal lager. Good use of German Noble hops. All in all, a good experience at a good brewery. We'll be back there again before we head home.

Today- Chelsea Brewing!
"Make beer not war"

You can't go there and not try the Oatmeal Stout!
