What's everybody doing for Christmas?

Postby speed » Sun Dec 22, 2013 11:07 am

We are staying home and our kids will be here Tuesday thru Thursday. Being in the middle of the week it's hard to get the extended family to travel any distance. So we won't see my brothers. Our daughter is bringing her cat and leaving it for a week so we get to catsit.
What will be will be.

Staying home as well. I am fortunate in that most of my family is within reasonable driving distance. Will spend Christmas Eve at home and then go see my Mom for lunch on Christmas Day.

Working Monday and Tuesday; but took the rest of the week off.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

We started our celebrations last night! :D Two of my 3 kids, their spouses, grand babies, will be at their inlaws for Christmas... :( So, we started early. Will just be my son for Christmas eve, then Christmas Day with my husband's family. After Christmas, we're going on a family trip to Monterey for our anniversary and will finish up Christmas there with youngest daughter and her hubby then. We're even going whale watching! :D

Staying home. My youngest son is a Marine stationed in San Diego and he is flying in to see us on Christmas Eve. My oldest son is coming in from Chicago area on the 30th. It'll be nice to have them here with my wife and daughter and me.

Staying home for the actual day but travel on the weekend.

I might even brew on Christmas Eve or the day after, it is a miracle...

We are supposed to be at my Nieces house. Sounds like everyone is sick. Might be a last minute change of venue to the "Ale farm"
