This markes my 7000th post on this forum I joined this board in March 2005 during its hayday. as a celabration of this milestone I am holdng a little raffle to give back to the forum for all of the knowledge I gave gained from here. The biggest thing I learned was never pick up abandoned coolers on the side of the road to be used as a mashtun and Trivan is a cute little game that only take a few minutes of your time

with that said, to enter this contest just respond to this post and you will be entered to win an ingredient kit from out host I will buy it and send it to you The odds are pretty good since i think there is only a handful us left that stil post. so get your entry in. I will close this down next week and have one of my kids pull your name from hat and I will notify the winner.

Good luck and Merry Christmas

Drew

Agreed... Congratulations on the admirable post number. While I've not been here nearly as long nor have a sliver of the posts, I agree that there are still lots to learn from those here.

Salute!

Wow, 7000. That's great. In my view, that is a very real achievement. This forum was great indeed. The discussions we have had here have no doubt helped thousands of homebrewers to get on their feet and make the hobby into the phenomenon it is today. And you helped with that. (And so did I.) I also gained a few real-life friends from it, which is pretty awesome -- something so impersonal like the interwebs can turn around and affect real-life in such a positive manner. Forums like these are valuable and should not be allowed to die.

Keep on keeping on.

Nice gesture, Drew. The forum was a grand time waster back in the day. Congrats (I think) on 7K!

Pretty cool gesture man!

Take my name out of the hat though, it would never get made.

Congrats!

Wow; thanks Drew! That's a good way to start the New Year. I will try to decide today and let you know.

Edit:
Let's go with:
Sunset Pale Ale - All Grain Beer Kit
That sounds like an interesting kit.

Got home and the package was in my garage. Will post pics on brew day and plan to do this one next. That way, I can send bombers out or you can all come to my house for a taste testing...
