O'Dell's Bourbon Barrel Stout

anyone else try this yet? just got a bottle. was gonna try it out tonight unless one of you seasoned fellas suggest letting it age a while.
There is a difference between Pride and Arrogance. Which do you hold in your heart?

Primary:Black Hell V.2.0
secondary:Peach Mead, Loud Mouth Braggot
bottled:B3 sweet mead, Hell High Grav. split & blended w/ amber
kegged:Bockelopolis
ready to drink:Black Hell Bourbon Stout, B3 barley wine

well, O'Dells got back to me. they said it was bottled in early September and suggested about a year of aging. looks like it's gonna be resting next to my Goose Island Bourbon Stout for a while.

i had their india barleywine and honey pale ale at gabf. i remember liking them and being disappointed that they were closed on my day driving to taprooms in the area

have you tried goose island yet? i have some , tried a few and am letting a few age. damn good stuff if you ask me

yeah. got a bunch of '08 in the basement aging as we speak. pretty excited to see how it is in another year or two.
