Sam Adams Oktoberfest mishap

Postby Brewtime » Tue Sep 04, 2012 9:24 am

Last week I was at the local pizza joint and odered the SA Oktoberfest draft. The beer was a huge butter bomb. I informed the manager that the beer she had on draft was flawed and it would be a good idea to contact the distributor for a replacement keg. After talking to her I got the impression she had no idea what I was telling her. The first clue was when she said I don't like beer. long story short I contacted SA andtold them of my exprience. let me tell you thier response was amazing . They called me on my cell to let me know they got my comment. The VP for the Mid-Atlantic region contacted me to let me know what he was going to do to fix the problem. To top it off Saturday when I got home there was a package from the guy he sent me one of their brewers hats. It is good to know that they really do stand behind their product.

What was the name of the pizza joint?
Wine is but
single broth.
Ale is meat,
drink and cloth.

Great to have follow up service like that.

I just had one of their Oktoberfests on tap. It's a good beer. Im going to pick up a six pack now.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
