toastmaster popper

toastmaster model 6201. it won't get past 375! what can I do?

What voltage are you getting from your plug when you roast? You may need to manipulate your voltage (ie Variac) to bump up your roaster. You can use one of these to find out.

you could try roasting in a box. to recirculate some of the hot air back into the unit. Be careful though if you have not bypassed the thermal shutoff you could have your unit shut down before your beans reach a desired roast. also there is a temp shutoff that kills the element when it reaches a certain temp. this will most definitely need to be bypassed by taking out the little disc of metal that is in the thermal device.
