I owned a Rancilio Rocky for 6 years. No complaints here, as it was an excellent grinder. I had the doser model, as the doserless wasn't available back then, and used it for espresso only. It's definitely a solid grinder, and is built to last. I'd say it's probably the best grinder out there that is actually built for household use. The only problem I had with the grinder was after 6 years of daily use (grinding multiple double shots), the cam spring in the doser broke. I think it was only a couple of bucks to replace it, and then it was as good as new. But, if I was going to buy another Rocky I'd probably go for the doserless unit. I upgraded to a Mazzer Mini 3 years ago and love the fact that the Mazzer has an infinite grind setting, where as with the Rocky you are stuck with one click settings. It's a great grinder for espresso, might be a little overkill for drip, or press.
