old grain for canned starter wort?

old grain for canned starter wort?

Boy... its been a while since I posted here...

I have almost a whole sac of continental pilsner malt. It is approximately 2 years old. It has been stored in a two black trash bags in my closet indoors. I was wondering if anyone had some compelling reasons why I should NOT use it for canned starter wort. Thanks for your perspective

I think if it smells good, looks good, and try tasting some - if no issues, I certainly cannot think of a reason not to use it.
