I know the formula (1.126-1.020)*131= abv but when I put it in EZ Brew 1.95, it says 15.9%. I let the Barleywine ferment for 11 days. SG was 1.126. FG was 1.020. Fermented at 67F. I did it with a blowoff tube but the lid to my 6 1/2 gallon fermentor still popped off once.
The calculated alcohol is a whopping 13.91%
