Forum Style

Postby Keith » Tue Sep 13, 2005 11:51 am

The change in the forum style was new to me too, but relax, all is not lost!!!

If you're unhappy with the new forum style you can still have the old way back:

(1) Click on "Profile" at the top of the screen
(2) Scroll down to the Preferences area. Select "subSilver" in the Board Style option.
(3) Click Submit.

Chaos averted.

NOTE: applied to earlier version. For updated info on changing board style, go here.

Ithe style is fine however the formatting is off the whle right side is cut off an you cant read the whole post. I don't understand the reasoning behind the left frame showing the shoping cart and member login.

WHat is your screen resolution? I haven't had a problem reading the text, or seeing the entire posts. In fact, I have about an inch and a half of blank screen on either side of the layout.

My res is 1024*768, which is actually larger than I normally use (1280*962)

With the exception of not easily seeing where new posts are, I like the new look.

Denny - look for "User Control Panel" at the top of the page; then click on "Board Preferences" on the left. This will take you to the settings options.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

That's because that was from the old version (Posted: 13 Sep 2005), unless of course you're making a point. ;) This will be de-stickied and allowed to die. Gary's new one will replace it.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. :D
