Question about which hops to use with sorghum extract

Postby SW Brew Dog » Sun Sep 13, 2015 10:39 am

I am a newbie home brewer who would like to learn to make a gluten free beer using sorghum extract, maltodextrin, and hops. Can anyone suggest which hops to use with sorghum extract for a pale ale, amber ale, or brown ale?

From what I've seen and read, a moderately large amount of Cascade seems to be the norm for Gluten Free Pale Ales, off set them with Lemon and Orange Peel or Zest. For an Amber Ale, try Kent Goldings for bittering and Northern Brewer for Aroma.
