There are two beers that I know of there, Abita- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abita_Brewing_Company
And Dixie-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixie_Brewing_Company

The last I heard Dixie was being contracted out because they were looted so bad during Katrina. I also heard their beer sucks.
On Tap- Fruit Fly Pale Ale, India Red Ale, American IPA, Southern English Brown, Joes Ancient Orange Mead
Primary-
Secondary-
On Deck- Something Pumpkin, Dry Stout

The beer is probably enjoyed by less people than actually like it. -Me

They let the s**t hit the fan then they made a plan. Yep we all have a lot to drink about.

Not a beer joint specifically, but if "Dick and Jennys" is still around after the hurricane you should go. Good food, great service, off the beaten path.

EDIT: here ya go http://dickandjennys.com/

a tad nicer the Weiners Cricle  So did you get Chi-town-U2-Tix?

Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager is pretty decent or it was 6 years ago when I had it last.

Unless things have changed, no. No impressive brew pubs or beer joints in that area.

It's been 10 years, but Crescent City Brewing was a nice place. Cheers...

The only thing I remember about Crescent City Brewing is the free shirt I got. That was in 2004 and I still wear the shirt. That was pretty much a lost weekend, can't remember too much except clearing out a bar of a large table full of attractive women.
