Question regarding timing of ML fermentation

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and fairly new to wine making so please bear with me.

I have a question regarding malolactic fermentation.

Once the wine has been pressed and gross lees removed, can one wait a few days before starting ML? (Max three days)

I hope so. My ML bacteria doesn't come in until Thursday!
