Postby BrewingNoob68 » Tue Feb 25, 2014 8:48 pm

Brewed my 2nd 1 gallon batch of Hard Cider .. used pasteurized Apple Cider, Ec-1118 yeast, yeast nutrient and frozen apple juice concentrate to bump up the SG some ... Fermentation took about 1 week... The Cider has a Sulphur smell and from what ive read this could be normal!??? Please advise ... will it go away or will it required something else ???

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Totally normal. It will usually disappear within 3 to 5 weeks, sometimes takes longer, but time is always your friend when it comes to sulfur.
