Brew day went great. 10 gallons in the fermentor and back in the house by 1130a. That's a nice morning.

Plus - added benefit of post whoring by quoting myself....

Poured 4 oz. of Amarillo pellets in the fermentor today. Can't wait.

And I get a triple quote of myself......

Racked 10 gallons to kegs today; smelled amazing. Looking forward to sampling this one in about 10 days.

Quote of a quote of a quote = extra win.

Just wanted to break the cycle. Nothing to see here, move along.

I did clean a conical tonight so I did do something brewing related. Annual SPD parade this weekend. I got 6-gallons of Stout in my mobile dispenser all ready to roll....literally ready to roll.

6 gallons in a mobile kegerator = strong work!

Weighed out the grains for a 5 gallon batch of Amber. Maybe get a chance to brew it this weekend.

Didn't get to brew the Amber but I did tap the IPA. Needs a few more days to properly carb; but it turned out great. It should be a requirement to dry hop all IPAs with Amarillo 8)

Received my AG kit from our fine hosts for a Citra Session Pale Ale; plan to brew it next week while I am off.
Did I mention that I was off next week? Hell yeah I am.

Gotta push 5 gallons of Citra Pale Ale to a keg and also have my grains weighed out for a 5 gallon batch of Blond Ale. Have not decided yet what hop to use on it. Will start early in the morning.

Blond Ale boiling now.

I pushed the Citra Pale Ale (kit from our hosts) to a keg and decided to give it a sample taste. Well, it is as advertised - tropical aroma and finish. I got a lot of grapefruit; will be interesting to see how this is once carb'd.

No brewing today; but legged 5 gallons of Blonde Ale - my spring lawn mowing, weed eating, fishing beer.

Not sure what to brew next. Maybe a big RIS to set back until Winter. I should have saved the yeast cake from my Blonde Ale but thought about it about the time I tossed it.

I have a Kolsh up next for my summer beer I have been organizing my brewery space getting rid of no longer needed equipment and feeding the deer any old (2-3 YO) grains I had laying about. I think they have had an impact on the final product. or it just me.

Interesting you would post about cleaning up. I have progressively been using up all my grains and my hops and have organized my brewing around clearing then out so I can order all new. Just about used up my hops in the freezer (only have a few random ozs left) and have about 8 pounds of British Malt that is about a year old that I will use up next brew.
